| Location: Your sundial will function the best if mounted on a south facing wall or fence. (that gets plenty of Sun of course) Be aware of trees and neighboring structures that may block the Sun for any part of the day. |
| Sundial Installation: Each of my vertical south facing dials is equipped with a wall mounting kit. There is a wide variety of possible techniques that you could employ to mount a vertical sundial. The only important factors to read accurate time are: The dial must be facing directly south. The dial must be vertically orientated. If your intended location is not a vertical surface, or does not face directly south, a custom dial can be fabricated to your specific surface requirements. |
